Clear nights are great for star gazing (check for when the meteor showers are). The VAST Trail is right up the hill. 18 minutes away is Kingdom Trails (NE of
here). Check out their calendar of events esp. the Jan 26 6-8 pm torchlit event [ski, fatbike or snowshoe to a hot fire and hot chocolate in the woods]
https://kingdom.kinsta.com/events/2019/01/torchlit-trail-experience-with-fairbanks-museum-stargazing/; to the SW is Hill Farmstead Brewery, and Craftsbury's
Open Center. Our farm animals are mesmerizing & entertaining to watch. The livestock, pastures and paddocks are not openly accessible for our guests. Please
note this house is not like a condo/resort with antiseptic new perfection -- it is earthy, elegant, old-fashioned and natural.

Thank you for an amazing weekend. Your farm is such a special place.
We really enjoyed watching the donkeys, geese & sheep, and sitting by
the wood-pellet stove late in the evenings. So relaxing! And the stars at
night were also a real treat. Can’t wait to come back again. It was great
staying at your place and meeting both of you. Thanks again!

Marc and Stephi are the greatest hosts, in an old farm house with all the
amenities you could probably think of, and then some. We enjoyed a
restful few days touring the area, barbecuing and enjoying the bountiful
produce from Stephi's garden (never tasted dill like that!), sitting and
relaxing and looking out the window. The rental is spacious and homey.
Our hosts even lent us sweaters and umbrellas when we came un-
equipped. We truly enjoyed getting to know them and hope to be back

Stephanie & Marc were great. The upstairs great room window is
awesome and you will not want to move from watching nature. Stephanie
took the time to show us around the place and made sure to find some
drawing paper for our daughter who also loved the place. We look forward
to staying here again.

Trying to keep Bobo & Lady Hazel separated from the Pigs' sweet
food (in a blizzard). First you see the donkeys eating where they
should, but when they hear the sounds of the pigs being fed, then
Marc has his hands full. Trouble is, Hazel is patiently persistent;
but eventually she goes back to where their food is. This was too
difficult a balancing act for every day; so the pigs were sent to a
new home and harmony/balance was restored.
