Starting in late-June the Luna moths come out very late at night, followed by fireflies in July.  Clear nights are great for star gazing (check for when the meteor
showers are).   The VAST Trail is right up the hill.   Two minutes away is a local (nr-private) area that's great for swimming, hiking, exploring, fishing (shut from Nov
1 to end of May)--Bread & Puppet is a mile further away.  18 minutes away is Burke Mtn. ski resort & Kingdom Trails.  The SE corner of our property is often
referred to as Moose Bog, frequented sometimes at twilight by Moose.  Our farm animals are mesmerizing & entertaining to watch.  Although the livestock,
pastures and paddocks are not openly accessible for our guests, there are many opportunities to take part in helping with the farm if you would like to.  Please
note this house is not like a condo/resort with antiseptic new perfection -- it is earthy, elegant, old-fashioned and natural.   Marc also offers instruction for
or
p
articipation in internal energy arts: Chi Gung (Qi Gong), Tai Chi, Bagua, circle walking (walking the 8 directions).

Amenities include:  Linens, WiFi, HDTV, a Blu-ray DVD Player & Netflix), Radio-CD Player,  Microwave, Toaster Oven, Coffee Maker, Bean Grinder, Blender, Waffle

Area Offerings:  Follow this link for map with area offerings:  Map with Markers   We are near many areas with great eating places, plus outdoor trails (hiking,

mile+ away.  Nearby are some great  family restaurants (12-min. drive or more), and 2 markets.  Lyndon State College is only 18 minutes away, Kingdom Trails with
world-class mtn. biking events (100+ miles of trails), Craftsbury's Outdoor Center, Burke Mountain and E. Burke with their many activities, trails, and more great

Thank you for an amazing weekend.  Your farm is such a special place.
We really enjoyed watching the donkeys, geese and sheep, and sitting
by the wood-pellet stove late in the evenings.  So relaxing!  And
the
stars at night
were also a real treat.  Can’t wait to come back again.  It
was great staying at your place and meeting both of you.  Thanks again!

Marc and Stephi are the greatest hosts in an old farm house with all the
amenities you could probably think of, and then some.  We enjoyed a
restful few days touring the area, barbecuing and enjoying the bountiful
produce from Stephi's garden (never tasted dill like that!), sitting and
relaxing and looking out the window.  The rental is spacious and
homey.   Our hosts even  lent us sweaters and umbrellas when we
came unequipped.  We truly enjoyed getting to know them and hope to
be back again!

Stephanie & Marc were great.   The upstairs
great room window is awesome and you will
not want to move from watching nature.
Stephanie took the time to show us around
the place and made sure to find some drawing
paper for our daughter who also loved the
place.  We look forward to staying here again.
